I bought the White and Black Lil Jet shades thinking I’d look cool. What I didn’t expect was to step outside and instantly be mistaken for a celebrity avoiding paparazzi at Erewhon. These things are chunky in the best way like if James Bond and a fashion-forward raccoon had a baby and that baby designed sunglasses. I put them on and immediately felt like I should be driving a vintage Porsche I can’t afford, listening to vinyl I don’t understand, sipping espresso I didn’t order. One guy asked me if I was in crypto. I said yes. I’m not. They’re bold, bougie, and basically tell the world: “Yeah, I moisturize and read books with no pictures.” Only downside? They’re slightly oversized, so if you look down too fast, you might moonwalk out of them. But who cares? You’ll look so good doing it, people will just assume it was part of the vibe. Would I buy them again? Duh. I’m already planning on wearing them to my cousin’s wedding and pretending I forgot my invitation but brought the drip.
